bright future

—by Fr. Charles V. Lachowitzer, President Faithful Shepherd Board of Directors

The Faithful Shepherd Catholic School campus includes a beautiful building of which we are proud and for which we are grateful. Our sponsoring parishes and founding families have made a substantial commitment to the construction of Faithful Shepherd and it is time to once again further reduce the building debt. Debt reduction, while somewhat less exciting than new construction, is critically important for the future of our School and Tri-Parish Center.

Shepherd the Way will bring us nearer to a time when the financial resources provided by our sponsoring parishes will exceed the annual cost of debt service. This will make possible a Tri-Parish Center fund that will handle future facility needs and other costs that are currently being funded by the School.

This in turn will take financial pressure off of the School's operations and allow the operational budget to focus on the true mission of our School, which of course is education. It also means that our sponsoring parishes will not be asked for additional money to fund unexpected repairs and preventative maintenance.

Shepherd the Way includes an investment in the technology infrastructure within our classrooms and offices. Additional classroom technology and computerized communication systems will keep our School and Tri-Parish Center an up-to-date and modern facility where the age-old practice of faith formation in our Catholic Tradition will be continued for the next generation.
